Managing our site
At Harlaxton, we control the quarrying process. We’re physicists and engineers ourselves so we ‘get’ the physics, the mathematical precision that’s necessary for operating safely, sustainably and viably.
With the assistance of the best blast scientists (who love the geometrically (almost) perfect geology of our quarry) we precisely design each drill hole and each blast. We oversee and understand the construction and maintenance of our plant and equipment.
We know the geology here and that’s how we know the right equipment for each task. The right changes to make to tweak and improve operations.
